ABOUT ANGI

A graduate of the University of Southern California and the daughter of a diplomat and industrialist, Angi Ma Wong was born in Nanking, China, and has lived in New Zealand, Taiwan, Hong Kong, New York/New Jersey and Washington, D.C. She was the founding president of the women’s service sorority, Chi Delta Alpha, which in 2007 celebrates its 40th anniversary, at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, and later graduated from the University of Southern California.

Angi Ma WongShe is an award-winning businesswoman and best-selling author who has written 24 titles, fifteen on feng shui, the Chinese environmental system of placement, including Feng Shui Dos and Taboos ® series and the award-winner TARGET: The U.S. Asian Market, and contributing author to four other titles. Angi founded her intercultural and feng shui consultancy and corporate training business in 1989 and her publishing company, Pacific Heritage Books in 1992. Through writing, publishing, public speaking and seminars, she bridges cultures for understanding and profitability between Asians and non-Asians. She was named Outstanding L.A. Businesswoman of the Year by the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) in 1995 and won the IRWIN Award as the Southern California Publicist of the Year in 1997 as well as received numerous other honors for her work and volunteerism.

Among Ms. Wong’s clientele are AT&T, Bank of America, Universal Studios (Beijing), COTY International, the Limited, Paul Anka Productions, Four Seasons Hotel, Ford Motor Company, Kemer Country (Istanbul) , Crustacean and Dragon Noodle Restaurants, American President Lines, and over 100 residential and commercial real estate developers globally such as KB Homes, Taylor Woodrow, Centex, Pulte, Lennar, Toll Brothers and Standard Pacific. Known as “The Feng Shui Lady® , Angi has appeared on OPRAH, Regis and Kelly, CNN Headline News, CBS Sunday Morning and in TIME magazine as well as over 400 features in print, broadcast and Internet media, and as a freelance writer, contributes a regular feng shui column on homestore.com and AsianConnections.com

Her countless audiences include 2001 4th Annual Feng Shui Conference, 1999 London International Feng Shui Conference, Pacific Coast Builders Conference, Chicago Merchandise Mart, Pacific Design Center, L.A. Mart, Color Marketing Group, Urban Land Institute, National Assn. of Homebuilders, and the Homebuilders and/or Sales and Marketing Councils of Chicago, Denver, Atlanta, Charlotte, Seattle, Los Angeles, and Orange County.

Active in Rotary International District 5280 and the Palos Verdes Sunset Rotary Club since 1993, its president in 2001-02 and Assistant Governor for 2003-04, 2004-05 and Sr. Asst. Governor 2006-07, Angi is a charter member and past president of the Chinese Historical Society of Southern California. A two-time cancer survivor, she is a dynamic, inspirational and popular speaker based in Palos Verdes, California, who travels worldwide to share her expertise on a wide range of topics to international audiences.
